BIO: First ethnic model to sign an exclusive contract with CoverGirl Cosmetics, Lana has been a role model for thousands of young women around the world. Starting as a teen in Toronto, Canada, Ms. Ogilvie worked in Paris, Milan, New York and London as a sought after runway model for designers such as Azzedine AlaÏa, Isaac Mizrahi, Prada, Missoni, Ferre and Galliano. As well as being a regular face in Vogue, Elle, Bazaar and Glamour, Ms Ogilvie did numerous advertising campaigns for designers such as Ralph Lauren, DKNY, Issey Miyake, and Galliano, and for bib brand companies like the Gap, Banana Republic, Ann Taylor, Chico’s, Macy’s and Nordstrom. She was a favorite of photographers such as Albert Watson, Steven Klein, Lord Snowdon, Arthur Elgort and Bruce Weber. Lana was the first ethnic model on the cover of Clin d’Oeil and Fashion magazines in Canada.
After becoming a brand ambassador for CoverGirl, Lana began working for Victoria’s Secret and appeared in the prestigious Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue. She shot numerous commercials and videos with famous directors like David Bailey and Brett Ratner.
Moving back home to Toronto for a few years, Lana became an on-air host and segment producer for Fashion Television. She was also on-camera as the fashion expert for Citi-Line and CBC, as well as writing for numerous Canadian magazines including Flare.
Since her return to New York City, Ms. Ogilvie started SABRE, a line of handmade jewelry, after training to become a fine jeweler. She continues to work as a model and television host, most recently appearing with Christie Brinkley, Ashley Graham and Bridget Moynahan for NYDJ.
